You are going to love this, it almost snagged a relative of mine. Yes, they are "honoring" former President Ronald Reagan with a commemoriative.

Here's the details they don't tell you on the TV/radio: The $10.00 coin is _not_ a full silver ounce - it's a silver dime! To understand the markup, consider that at a coin show in Raleigh, NC two weeks ago (24 June 2006) I saw "grab box" 90% FDR dimes going for $0.90 each.

So don't believe the hype, and don't let your SO or mother/aunt/grandmother fall for this scam, either. If they are willing to pay $10 for a silver dime, that's another problem.

BTW, a quick eBay search is no good either: $10 to $13 each plus S&H. What a deal.:thumpdown

There is no weight stamped on them so I would avoid them especially at that cost.
